Your itinerary
Day 1: Windhoek Hosea Kutako International airport - arrival

​

• Arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport;

• Meet and greet with your guide;

• Transfer to Windhoek and pick up the rental vehicles;

• Drive to the lodge just north of Windhoek;

• Welcome cocktail at the lodge and introduction by your instructor;

• Lunch for early arrivals (before 12h00);

• Welcome dinner at the lodge.

Overnight: Okapuka Lodge (or The Weinberg Hotel in Windhoek)
Inclusive: Lunch for early arrivals (before 12h00 /14h00). Welcome cocktail and dinner.

Day 2: Windhoek to Namib Desert

​

• Breakfast followed by check-out;

• Drive the first stretch on a tarred road. Further gravel roads through Namib Naukluft Park towards Sesriem 

• Lunch and coffee tasting en route

• Arrival at the lodge; Relax at the swimming pool;

• Dinner at the lodge

Overnight: Sossusvlei Lodge (or similar)
Inclusive: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Distance apr. 350 km.

Day 3: Excursion to Sossusvlei Dunes

​

• Morning excursion into the park towards Sossusvlei;

• Climb the dunes at Sossusvlei (+-340 meters), explore magical Dead Vlei on foot, and photo stop at Dune 45;

• Picnic lunch near the dunes;

• On the way back, stop at the Sesriem Canyon, with a short hike;

• Sundowner and dinner at the lodge.

Inclusive: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Entrance to Sossusvlei an to the Canyon.

Distance: approx 120 km.

Day 4: Sesriem – Swakopmund

• Breakfast followed by check-out;

• Departure towards Solitaire;

• Lunch en-route at Rostock;

• Take gravel roads through via Kuiseb Canyon and Gaub pass towards Walvisbay;

• Continue along the coast towards Swakopmund;

• Dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight: Atlantic Gardens Boutique Hotel (or similar).
Inclusive: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 5: Swakopmund

​

• Day excursion into Sandwich harbor, self-drive with rental vehicles;

• Lunch packs to be enjoyed on the beach;

• Afternoon driving in the dunes of the Namib desert;

• Dinner at a local restaurant.

Inclusive: breakfast, lunch (lunch packs on the beach), and dinner

Day 6: Swakopmund – Erongo Region

​

• Morning Dolphin Cruise in Walvis Bay to Pelican Point;

• Brunch with Namibian oysters and champagne on the boat;

• Take smaller back roads through central bush savannah, towards Erongo Region;

• Afternoon guided game drive in a private nature reserve, to visit ancient rock paintings;

• Dinner at the lodge./or in the bush (for minimum 10 people).

Overnight: Ai-Aiba Rock painting Lodge (or similar).
Inclusive: breakfast, brunch (on the boat). PM guided drive.

Day 7: Erongo Region / San Bushman village

​

• Morning visit to nearby San Bushman Living Museum;

• Take smaller back roads towards Erindi private game reserve
  Lunch at the lodge
  Afternoon guided nature drive;

• Dinner at the lodge.

Overnight: Erindi – Old Traders Lodge
Inclusive: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. PM guided drive.

Day 8: Erongo – Erindi private game reserve

​

• Spend the day with an experienced ranger on morning and afternoon game drives, in an open vehicle;

• Lunch and dinner at the lodge;

• PM guided game drive in a private game reserve.

Overnight: Erindi – Old Traders Lodge
Inclusive: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. AM & PM game drives.
Distance apr. 150 km.

Day 9: Erindi private game reserve

​

• Early morning guided game drive;

• Breakfast on the lodge terrace;

• Continue on back roads towards Okahandja, enjoy lunch at Okahandja Lodge;

• Drop off vehicles at the rental company (latest by 16h00).

Overnight: Am Weinberg Hotel

Inclusive: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Distance: 100 km.

Day 10: Erindi – Windhoek – Hosea Kutako Int airport

​

• Transfer to the airport in time for your flight out
  Inclusive: breakfast and lunch (for late departures, after 14h00)

• If enough time, a short city tour.

Based on min 2 people in a rental vehicle:

Full paying guest per person sharing:       04 - 05: 10,300 EUR;     06 - 07: 8,000 EUR;   08 – 09: 7000 EUR;     10 – 12: 6,500 EUR
                           single supplement: 800 EUR

Children older than 6 years and in their own room, pay the same room price as adults.
Children younger than 12 years, sharing a room with their parents get 50% discount on room rates
(max. 2 children per 2 adults sharing).

• 2x airport transfers with a suitable vehicle, meet and greet upon arrival;

• 9 nights in the mentioned hotels/lodges;
